ITENARY (DAY TO DAY)

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Travel to Africa Safari guide greets you with a big smile: welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. The next day your guide takes you on an exclusive, 8 days Tanzania private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

DAY 3 : SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa â€“ the Serengeti National Park â€“ with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengetiâ€™s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

DAY 4: SERENGETI FULL DAY

After breakfast, have a full-day game drive in the park, lunch at the lodge /campsite. The park has an endless plain which is a home for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelle, crocodiles, and many more. Also, you will enjoy a variety of birds that decorate the park with different sounds.

DAY 5: SERENGETI FULL DAY

After breakfast, have a full-day game drive in the park, lunch at the lodge /campsite. The park has an endless plain which is a home for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dogs, gazelle, crocodiles, and many more. Also, you will enjoy the variety of birds that decorate the park with different sounds.

DAY 6: SERENGETI - NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, you descend into the crater, enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzaniaâ€™s last remaining black rhino.

Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO - ARUSHA

To day is the last day of your 8 days Tanzania private safari. Early morning breakfast, then depart to Lake Manyara for game drive. The park has a varied habitat that attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africas largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboons, warthog, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

DAY 12: FLIGHT HOME

The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before our driver takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home.

Having second thoughts? It’s also possible to add a few days to your holiday by going to one of Tanzania’s paradise islands, such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!
