ITENARY (DAY TO DAY)

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Travel To Africa Safari guide greets you with a big smile: ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative for a briefing about your safari, then take a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle herded by the nomadic people. You will see all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive, then drive to the hotel/lodge/Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

 Accommodation: Tarangire Safari Lodge

DAY 3 : SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so you can view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way. This drive will take around six hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains. You may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area, depending on the time. You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way, then proceed to your camp/lodge with a game drive en route, arriving in the evening.

Accommodation : Serengeti Kubukubu Luxury Tented Camp

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Rise early so you can depart your lodge for a full day of game viewing, moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Wildebeest Migration in the northern part toward the Mara River. It is an impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you also want to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) all in one park, the Serengeti is the place to be. You will be transferred back to your camp/Lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
